Chesapeake Bay Living: Norfolk Botanical Gardens Part 2

Written by Michelle Davenport & Elizabeth Kimball

As mentioned before there is so much to see at the Norfolk Botanical gardens that it needed to be broken up into more than one blog post.

Another part of the garden is World of Wonders: A Children’s Adventure Garden.

It is a three-acre garden is dedicated to families and children. World of Wonders has several distinct areas, each offering different interactive lessons, but all offering excitement, enrichment and entertainment.

It was really cool to see that they had education stations set up through all the area.  It's so lovely when areas are fun and educational at the same time.

The place we stayed at was World Plaza.  This is where you can splash your way around the world! Through fountains, bubblers, foggers and jet sprays, explore the oceans and other major waterways on Earth.

What a fun time!  The weather had gotten warmer so some time in this area was much needed.

If you go here I recommend taking an energetic toddler and clothes that you don't mind getting wet.   Possibly even a change of clothes.

Because the fun will ensue!
