But first let's read his blurb.
A bright orange sun poked above the watery horizon beyond the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and the sky was pink with the light coloring the clouds above. Cole Draper was out for an early morning run on the beaches of Ocean View. His breathing was in tune with the steady thump of his footsteps in the sand on the waters edge. Wow, what a spectacular morning. Sweat beaded on his forehead, and as he approached East Beach from the west, he pushed a little harder. Another hundred yards! His throat ached for water yet he pushed. And pushed. Finally he passed the Bay Front Club tower, broke stride and began to walk.
Breathing heavily, he walked about fifty steps then stopped, bent over and placed his hands on his knees and inhaled deeply. He scanned the horizon. Two fishing boats were leaving the Little Creek inlet; a row of seagulls were perched on the breakwater, squawking; a man was standing waist deep in the water, net fishing. This is the best part of the day. He half smiled. All downhill from here.
Cole’s breathing gradually returned to normal. He stood and walked slowly, his hands on his hips, back toward the Bay Front Club. It was quiet at this time in the morning. He heard the increasing sound of a small boat’s outboard engine, and turned to face the bay. His gaze searched for the source of the noise. That’s strange. There’s no boat! The engine sound intensified as he continued to scan the horizon. Then he saw an object flying about fifty feet above the water. As the sound moved closer, the object grew larger and began to take shape. It was flat on the top, like wings, with an elongated blue undercarriage. The object quickly closed the distance and Cole saw four rotors spinning rapidly. It’s a quadracopter drone! “Pretty cool,” he mused.
East Beach’s Private Investigator, Cole Draper is back at it. There has been unusual drone activity in the neighborhood so he and his attractive new roommate investigate their suspicion that something illegal is happening. What they discover needs to be stopped and Cole is determined to do that…whatever it takes.
Wow! Don't you want more with that?
Well here's a bit more, check out an excerpt from his story.
